The name
Born and bred in Madrid (Spain), Alex Colao aka Papaboule has spent a lifetime devoted to visual arts. Honoured Fine Arts graduated in 2003, started a professional career in the graphic design field performing art direction and freelance illustration, enjoying the inspirations of the creative world. Blurring the lines between art and design, Papaboule’s profile depicts an eclectic all-round talent as many techniques from digital to traditional cover his range of visual areas. Based in London since 2009, Papaboule has been celebrating versatility working on a wide range of projects from Brick Lane to Harrods, among other works all over the world.
