Paste-Up Worlds

Paste-up is a non-commercial contemporary art. Basically, it consists on creating art posters (preferably handpainted, but prints work just great) and glueing them up on open street surfaces with wheat paste or similar.

This technique suits big collaborative walls with a multiplicity of paste-up artists worldwide.

On a conceptual level, paste-up is more than a technique. To me, it holds a deeper meaning, close to a situationist action, revealed by new ways of seeing art out of the academic establishment.
